Plushie Review: Animal Crossing Leaf

Hey, Geekly Gang! Season here. It’s been a hot minute since I’ve reviewed a plushie. This week, I’m merging video games and plushies together. Have you heard of the Club Mocchi Mocchi Animal Crossing Leaf plushie? If not, today’s your lucky day.

Before we begin, let’s review the categories. I’ll be looking at size, softness, kid-friendliness, and cuddliness. There won’t be an aggregated score.

Size

The Club Mocchi Mocchi Animal Crossing Leaf is about the size of one’s hand. This makes sense since it’s supposed to turn into a piece of furniture once placed on the ground. I’ve always wondered how characters in Animal Crossing fit their furniture into their pockets. I could easily fit twenty of these in my backpack.

Softness Versus Firmness

Club Mocchi Mocchi’s Animal Crossing Leaf is pretty soft. It has a bit of firmness to it, but not so much that it won’t squish in your pockets. Animal Crossing characters must have vacuum-sealed pockets or something.

Kid Friendly Versus Adult Only

Club Mocchi Mocchi’s Animal Crossing Leaf doesn’t have many small pieces, outside of the stem. There’s no danger of a rambunctious kid or a teething baby ripping this off by accident. Animal Crossing Leaf is a good choice for kids.

Cuddle Buddy Versus Desk Buddy

Unless you’re a small child, Club Mocchi Mocchi’s Animal Crossing Leaf is difficult to cuddle. It makes for a cute desk decoration. It’s also easy to squeeze if you’re looking for a plush stress ball.

Final Thoughts

Club Mocchi Mocchi’s Animal Crossing Leaf isn’t the first plushie I’d think of when thinking of a video game plushie. Heck, I’d think of the 1Up mushrooms from Mario first. This plushie is easy to get either online or in big box retailers like Walmart. I think I got mine at a Target several years ago. What’s your favorite video game plushie, Geekly Gang? Let us know in the comments. Thank you for reading, and have an amazing rest of your day.
