Special Effects on Cards

Mjolnir: Three Attack against a single enemy in your Location. Since “Mjolnir” always accompanies a Move, Thor can choose to deal his 3 Attack against an enemy first and then Move or Move and then deal his 3 Attack against an enemy. “Mjolnir” works best against the main villain or one of their henchmen.

Overall

Thor can zing around the board and deal copious amounts of damage, especially if you can time “Mjolnir” against the main villain or their henchmen. But he sports a little less in the Heroics department and needs a little support from a Hero with a good Heroics rating.

Good Teammates

The Heroes who accompany Thor in the Tales of Asgard expansion (Beta Ray Bill, Korg, and Valkyrie) tend to focus on the same areas of the game as him. They aren’t horrible options, but you may be best served pairing Thor with someone from the core set like Cap, Ant-Man, Captain Marvel, or Iron Man.
