Special Effects on Cards
1) Deadliest in the Galaxy: Each Wild or Attack token you spend this turn gets you an additional Attack action.
While potentially powerful, “Deadliest in the Galaxy” requires Gamora to have Wild and/or Attack tokens. She doesn’t generate her own tokens. There are a few token producing options in the Guardians of the Galaxy Remix expansion.
Furthermore, she also doesn’t gain an Attack token to use during a later turn; she gains an additional Attack action which must be used this turn, or you waste the action. So, “Deadliest in the Galaxy” is best used when there are a lot of Thugs or henchmen in play or if the villain can be damaged.

Overview
Gamora has a fair amount of Move and Heroics, but she shines with Attack and that makes sense for her character. She does best against a Villain who summons a lot of Thugs, has a lot of henchmen, or one with a bunch of health. Or you could pair her with a Hero who can make up for her deficiencies. She also benefits from teammates who generates Wild and Attack tokens, so she can take full advantage of her “Deadliest in the Galaxy” effect.

Good Teammates
If you want to stay on the Guardians of the Galaxy theme, Groot and Star-Lord are great options. Groot provides a lot of support (most of his cards have a special effect that can aid the team), and Star-Lord can produce tokens. The Morag Location (in the Guardians of the Galaxy Remix expansion) is another way to get Wild tokens. If you don’t care about staying on theme, Captain America and Iron Man from the core set are also good options.
