Kyra grew up a Marvel zombie—no, not one of those zombies, but a Marvel fan—and read a lot of X-Men and Spider-Man. They’ve since branched out into other comics. They’ve been into tabletop games for as long as they can remember, playing, and designing games.
They’re a writer of fiction, non-fiction, and poetry, and their work has appeared in several journals and anthologies. They hold a BFA in creative writing from The University of Nebraska at Omaha and lives in the greater Omaha area.

Jim is your standard issue comic book geek. He’s more DC-leaning than Marvel, but it’s caused minimal eye poking and hair pulling with Kyra. He’s also Geekly’s attending Star Trek nerd on duty.
He’s an author of fiction and poetry that has appeared in a variety of journals, magazines, and anthologies. He holds a BFA in creative writing from The University of Nebraska at Omaha. Jim lives in Connecticut.

Season is our resident anime/manga geek. She’s an avid collector of figurines, plushies, and Spyro the Dragon merchandise. Don’t ask her to count her collection. She’s afraid of the answer. She also enjoys playing board games.
She’s an author of fiction and nonfiction and is attending University of Nebraska at Omaha. She will graduate with her BFA in creative writing in spring of 2025. She lives in the greater Omaha area with her family.

Skye’s a movie lover and screen geek. She grew up on Spongebob Squarepants and has since gotten into film and theatre. If you want to discuss movies, she’s happy to join you.
Skye runs the movie review blog, “Weekend Movie Night Reviews” and attends the University of Nebraska at Omaha where she’s studying theatre with a minor in creative writing. She lives in the greater Omaha area with her family.
